Buenos Aires - Argentina national team legend, Diego Maradona, Lionel Messi assess not need the World Cup trophy to prove himself as the best player in football history.

"I will not tolerate people who say Messi is not phenomenal in football because they have not won the World Cup. Messi is a great player, regardless of whether he has won the World Cup or not," Maradona told TyC Sports.
